We drove to the canyon while he was sleeping in the morning (it was a 2 hr drive so he didn't sleep the whole time). We got out and hiked for about 1.5 hrs and then sat down and had some lunch. The picture below was taken after I finished feeding Aiden. We had a beautiful view!
After lunch we hiked some more until Aiden got really tired and feel asleep (see picture below). How cute. Aiden had lots of fun looking at all the other people there and smiling at them. The video below is the 1st swimming video. As you can see, he didn't like it at the beginning. By the end of the 15/20 min we were in the pool he was enjoying it. The water was a little cold which is probably one of the reasons he didn't like it too much.
We also went in the next day. He liked it a little more the second time. I think he'll get used to it and the warmer the water, the better (up to a point of course).

The last day we were in AZ we went to Pheonix and stayed with our friends Aaron and Casey and their 2 yr old son Colby. Colby was so cute and gentle with Aiden. That is Aiden playing with Colby's hair as he played rock band.
We went out to dinner which was really yummy. This is Aaron and Colby and Brad and Aiden leaving the restaurant. Aaron and Casey let us stay with them the last night there so we didn't have such a long drive to the airport. It was great to see them again (it had been a few years since we've seen them). Overall, we had a great trip. Our plane ride back went pretty smooth although it figures that when I have Brad to help, our trip home is only 4 hours (compare to 5 yrs out to PHX). It was great to have Brad to help out on the way back.
Brad went back to work this morning and I've been taking care of Aiden, putting stuff away, and doing lots of laundry. Aiden just ate lunch so now it's time to go to Wal-Mart to get some groceries.
