12/24 - First time fishing

On the morning of Christmas Eve, we went to go visit my old gymnastics coach, Tina. I love that we still keep in touch and we have gone to visit the last couple of years. When we stopped by this year Brad, Tina's husband, offer to let the boys fish. They were pretty excited. They put a little bread ball on a hook and in about 1 minute, Aiden had his first fish. He wasn't sure what to think of it.
Brad helped him reel it in and then gave him the line to hold it (the fish is down around his crotch, also by the reel).  Eli enjoyed watching everything happen.
Then it was Eli's turn to try. Eli liked grabbing the pole but wasn't so sure what to do when is started moving because he caught something.
As you can see, he took both hands off the pole and didn't want to hang on to the pole or line to show his first fish. It was too funny.
The both looked in on their fish and watched them swim around for a bit. Look at Aiden's hands behind is back. He actually eventually touched one of the fish.
They both got another try and Aiden was more willing to hold the line the second time around to show his fish. Eli - not so much.
They had a great time fishing and I'm sure are eager to do it again.
